Hello,

I have an offer for good used Bridgestone Turanza ER 300, Dot 08 sommer tyres in the dimension of 215/55/R16 97V for my W210 E320 EZ 10/99. I know that the ideal size for the car is 215/55/R16 93V. Can I still go with the 97V?

I was told that it only indicates how heavy I can load.

yes You can .... ... still go with the load index 97.

93 = 650 kg
97 = 730 kg

The letter "V" implies the speed index, admitted up to 240 km/h

Hello Lawrence,

you can use the tires, it´s no problem because the 97 says only the load index is higher than the 93.
The difference between 93 and 97 is only 60 kg, so the tire could be a bit harder or perhaps louder than the 93 type.
