LONDON, Nov 7 - Jean Alesi tested a Mercedes touring car on Wednesday and said a move into the German DTM series was a possibility now that he has retired from Formula One.
The Frenchman completed 24 laps in slippery conditions at Hockenheim in German champion Bernd Schneider's car.
"The most important thing today is to get an impression of the power, the gearshift, the steering and the balance," he told the Autosport website.
"The DTM could be a possibility for my further racing career," added the 37-year-old, who drove for Prost and Jordan in Formula One this year and ended his career in Japan last month after 201 grands prix.

warum schreibst Du das denn in englisch?
Ich habe davon allerdings auch schon etwas gelesen.
Wenn das denn so wäre, denke ich, der Jean könnte mit seiner Erfahrung vorne mitfahren.
Schade ist nur, daß die DTM nur noch einmal zum Nbr kommt.

spreche im Beruf nur englisch und die "Quelle" ist auch englisch – Mea Culpa.

Ich sehe auch, das Jean ein Kandidat für die vorderen Plätze bei der DTM ist. Schön das er für AMG fahren wird.
